MAKING SENSE

As the Covid-19 Pandemic is spreading massively around the world, with many countries just at the beginning "of the curve". Joji is looking to provide a different perspective - based on deeper analysis beyond just the publish numbers by WHO; in order to make sense and predict what is to come for the newly embroiled countries.

We take cue from the "played out" trend from China and specific countries around the world that had been taking unique approaches in dealing with the crisis - and compare them to new hot spots, in order to discover the trend lines that the specific countries are on.

Perhaps with our analysis, we will be able to find out the effectiveness various methodologies and strategies that was deployed in the fight against the Covid-19 Pandemic, as well as making educated predictions of what is to come, in order for our clients and readers to forge ahead with confidence.

Draconian Lockdowns in China
Where Healthcare Services
Are Not Overloaded

Takes 4 weeks (28 days)
before epidemic is under control

The situation in Europe
is officially more serious
than it was in China.

USA is has also overtook China's trend
and running the risk of following
Europe's trend.

Europe's major hotspots
are trending towards
Italy's situation

Ineffective / non-existent lockdowns
are at the heart of the failure to
control the situation.

Of significant, Spain and Germany are both
trending higher than Italy. Not a good sign.

Situation in countries that
were infected earliest are still
combating the spread of the virus.

Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore
are all battling imported cases from
returning residents.

Restarting the counter on 15 Mar
Roughly 14 days after Europe starts
to seriously engulf in Covid-19

We can see that many countries
that had previously managed well
against the spread from China,
is not ready for imported cases
mostly hailing from Europe

This situation also includes China's most international
cities/provinces, like Beijing and Shanghai. However,
because of the stricter control, travel restrictions to China
and lesser/no more spreading of the virus,
Chinese cities/provinces + Taiwan
managed to avoid a drastic increases in cases.

Emerging High Risk Hotspots
Globally outside of Europe

Several major countries and states are trending
dangerously high and drastic actions are needed
for these regions to seize back control of the situation.
